I am sick. According to this world wide web, it could be a variety of illnesses. I’m leaning toward mono, but it seems that whenever I mention this to someone, he or she takes a moment to analyze my pouty face and instantly says, “You don’t have mono.” Nonetheless, I hurt in many places and don’t even feel like eating pho. Diagnose that!
Each morning for the past few weeks, I have been making myself a smoothie with the miracle aparatus that is the Magic Bullet. I mix together a few heaping spoonfuls of plain or vanilla yogurt, a handful of frozen blueberries, soy milk, a mound of flax seed, some green mystery powder that my mom says will make me smart and strong, a few drops of liquid vitamin B to help ease my lady cycle and a squirt of honey. I thought it was my best defense against the various sicknesses that have plagued my allies. But alas, the potion was not enough.
Careful, folks. It’s a germy world out there.
(You should still try my recipe. It’s delicious!)

mono sucks. and people always look at you like there’s nothing wrong, and then you wind up with mono.
do watch the food network while you recover, though. you probably won’t want to eat (save for a frosty or cup of soup here and there), but i learned everything i k now about cooking by watching the foodnetwork nonstop while i had mono.
it almost made the whole ordeal worth it…

Don’t feel like eating Pho? You’ve developed a taste for better foods finally! Hooray! We don’t have to go eat Pho twice a week now!

oh, there it goes! hey, chica, i hope you feel mucho better. brian suggests that you not shower for several days. it always works for him. something about not exposing yourself to the cold. it’s really gross though. so do this on a weekend, when you’ll have minimal contact with the outside world.
cute glasses, btw. =)

Not shower? Dang….that’s a first….(note to self…keep away from Mish until she is better and not stinky).

No showers? That’s just sorcery mumbo jumbo. Perhaps Brian has heard of a heater before? Turn one on and you don’t have a problem of cold. Also, weekends are supposed to be my quality time with Michelle. Showers are mandatory…for her, not me.
