I can’t seem to formulate complete thoughts, so here are some scattered status updates. And no, I won’t write in third person. You’re very welcome.

- My mother and I now have the same haircut. She came back from Great Clips this afternoon saying, “Look at my hair. What do you think?” What do I think? I THINK YOU HAVE MY HAIRCUT! I probably paid 50 bucks more than she did, too. Dang.

- Last night, Matt, Carissa and I drove to J Lounge together for Desiree’s birthday. Des told us that the place gets really crowded so we should try to get there early. So we did. We got there at 8:45, early enough to avoid the lines and cover charge. Score! But as we stepped onto the vacant dance floor, our feeling of pride quickly fizzled when we realized we arrived before the deejay. Carissa, in all her 22 years of existence, probably never felt less cool.

- I watched the Super Bowl today. The game was great, but the salsa I picked out was disappointing. Albertsons no longer carries El Pinto, my favorite brand. I don’t think they carry the hot variety anywhere in California, so ever since I moved back from Arizona, the medium has had to suffice. Now I can’t find either. What should I do? I’m a girl without a salsa!

- I’m going to NY next weekend. I was supposed to gather some warm clothes this weekend, but the only thing I did was buy a flimsy thermal from Forever 21. I am going to freeze and die. You can have my TV.

- People tell me I have nice lean fingers. I could maybe be a hand model if I didn’t have Flaming Hot Cheeto powder permanently jammed inside my fingernails.

Lucky for you New York does not have a shortage of shops. Helloooo buy the sweaters and boots there! You only need one outfit to get you to the Top Shop flagship ;)

I think Des forgot that you guys are not Asian in regards to “Asian Time.” You guys are always on time. For “club/bar” purposes when people say get there early, they mean 10pm. DJ and promoters usually show up at 9pm.

Yeah, I’d be pissed if my mom had my haircut too.
