Here. Do this. I tag you and you and you and, ew, not you. (Just kidding, you too.)
1. Who was your first prom date?
Allan W. I met him at church and somehow I ended up going to his prom. He was nice and had long orange bangs. I later heard from my friend that he had gotten a girlfriend after he had asked me to go with him, but he didn’t want to be a jerk and back out on the date. So instead, he would sneak off at random moments throughout the night to call her. I had no idea.
2. Do you still talk to your first love?
Yeah, a quick “Hi. Hi. What’s new? Nothing much. Cool. Nice chatting with you” IM convo maybe 1.5 times a year.
3. What was your first alcoholic drink?
Some horrible, horrible shot at Teddy’s house party after high school graduation. I remember people yelling, “NO, DON’T SPIT IT OUT! JUST SWALLOW IT!”
4. What was your first job?
I was an office assistant at some design firm. I think my dad knew the owner and got me in. I was absolutely useless.
5. What was your first car?
Silver Nissan 200SX. Sounds cool, huh? It’s really just a Sentra.
6. Who was the first person to text you today?
Nobody. WAAAH! BTW, I must video record my sister IMing on her iPhone. She’s a madwoman!
7. Who is the first person you thought of this morning?
Me, of course.
8. Who was your first grade teacher?
You know what? I don’t remember! How sad. I think she was Asian.
9. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane?
Florida
10. Who was your first best friend and are you still friends with him/her?
Erica DelNigro. And no, we lost touch after 9th grade or so. Erica, where are you? I tried Facebooking you. Get Facebook. I need more white friends.
11. What was your first sport played?
T-ball. I sucked.
12. Where was your first sleepover?
My cousin Tiffany’s house. I was like 4. I cried and cried and cried and tried to walk home. Or so my aunt and uncle tell me. Every time I see them.
13. Who was the first person you talked to today?
Carissa. We were sitting in front of my closet mirror and I asked, “Are you sitting on my foundation?” And then I lifted her thigh up a bit so I could check.
14. Whose wedding were you in the first time?
My cousin Tiffany’s. It was just three months ago. OMG, she’s married.
15. What was the first thing you did this morning?
Checked my e-mail. Sad.
16. What was the first concert you ever went to?
Don’t remember. Probably some oldies concert with my folks, who probably tried to dance. My dad does this twist thing. My mom claps off beat.
17. First tattoo or piercing?
Ears. I think I was 10ish. Actually I have no idea. This might have been a bad meme for me.
18. First foreign country you went to?
Canada. Is that a foreign country? Wait, no Mexico.
19. What was your first run in with the law?
In college, I got a speeding ticket on the 405. Apparently, she had been following me with her police lights on for 10 minutes. Wow, if I wasn’t paying attention any longer, I could’ve been on the news. High speed chase!
20. When was your first detention?
Never. I was perfect.
21. What was the first state you lived in?
California.
22. Who was the first person to break your heart?
Probably this guy Sam, who I stared at a lot in 6th grade. One day, he said, “Why are you always staring at me?” Because I didn’t think you saw me staring, duh.
23. Who was your first roommate?
Nao. We roomed together our freshman year in the dorms. Oh, so many stories. Nao, remember when we put on all our snowboarding clothes and ran through the suite telling people we were snow bandits? I mean, nothing.
24. Where did you go on your first limo ride?
A limo taxi in Vegas. Really, those things aren’t very fun. Or sanitary.
