eeko studio is a Phoenix-based design boutique that’s all about helping the environment, one kick-ass project at a time. The team does crazy good work — web design, print ads, editorial layouts, apparel, pretty much everything (including my new bloggy business cards, squee!). The coolest part? They encourage the use of sustainable materials and processes, and with each service, they donate a portion of the profits to local environmental charities.
Another fun fact: eeko editorial director Odeen Domingo writes the witty Geeko Column on eco-friendly topics for HandsIn.org, a network of young people who aspire to change the world. Check it out.

ooh! love the wedding invites made from recycled paper… and that ‘just save water’ tote bag. as for paper, it’s amazing how many schools (i’m a teacher) don’t have recycling bins! we finally got some recycling cans in the office and doubled the bins in the parking lot, but it took more than a few phone calls. how come it’s not automatic to include recycling bins with the trash bins?!
