It’s official. I’m tired. Too much excitement in the past — holy crap! — it’s only been three weeks? I’ve been wedding nutso, if you couldn’t tell. This brain? Yeah, it exploded. I’m still cleaning the residue off my keyboard.
Who knew I’d become that bride? No really, tell me the truth, did you know? Because I honestly thought I was cooler. (OK, just slightly.) I mean, I’m normally a chill, whatevers-clever T-shirt and Converse-wearing chick. Now, I’m like, RIBBON NAPKIN TIES? I NEED RIBBON NAPKIN TIES! I make me want to puke.
It’s not like I’m bridezilla-crazy (or so I keep telling myself), it’s more of a EVERYTHING IS SO PRETTY crazy. If I am scatterbrained by nature, wedding-planning makes me scatterbrained times infinity plus one. My web browser never has fewer than 15 tabs open, which are all filled with the loveliest, swoon-worthy ideas. I’ll be skimming a wedding site and suddenly I’m like, OMG I MUST MAKE PRETTY BLOWY THINGS RIGHT THIS MINUTE!

Seriously though, aren’t these fun?
I think I’m calming down though. I have to. If I don’t someone will seriously have to drag my passed-out body down the aisle.
Also, I miss normal bloggy stuff. How are you guys? I miss you. Tell me something new. Anything non-wedding related!

How can anyone blame you?! You’re gearing up for the biggest party of your life! Go nuts! Love the blue blowy thing, by the way! If you make them, send one my way ;)

Burnout already?? Wait, have you guys set a date yet? Don’t worry about napkin ties, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. Google “WIC wedding” and don’t let people you don’t even know stress you out!
Non-wedding related: TWO mexican restaurants are following me on Twitter. Is two a trend?

If you ever want to ruminate on wedding stuff, but don’t want to necessarily become *that* bride on your blog, you’re welcome to do it on my blog! I always need stuff and writers.
And….it was awesome to see you at Trivia Bowl! You were a ticket selling machine!

Please save all these comments for after Sunday. Don’t give Jess any new ideas. Please.

I thought the “pretty blowy things” were more of a New Year’s Eve kind of thing? If you have those at your wedding you instantly earn +264 cool points.
Also, I can’t say the word “blowy” with a straight face. Aaand I’m sorry for ruining that word for you.

I’m eagerly waiting for you to pass out. It’ll give me some rest. Then I will drive you over the state line in a caravan with all your friends. You’ll wake up at the Little Chapel in Vegas. The up side is you will get $25 in chips for the casino.

It’s so easy to get wrapped up in wedding plans, especially with all the cute things there are now! It’s like as soon as you settle on something, you find something even cuter and then you’re like Wahhhahh I want THAT one. haha but those blowers are CUTE! Have fun with it, I actually miss the planning; it was so much fun!

Those blowy things are so sweet!
Mmm… if you have time in the next 48 hours, you should get onto Class Act Canada’s website and vote for Elizabeth Adiru. Some info is on my website under “P.O.W.E.R. + Class Act.” I’m trying to spread the word for a friend who is friends with Elizabeth… it takes 1 minute (if you have high speed internet, haha)!!

poor matt. ;) also, really? you didn’t think you’d become bridezilla? just kidding, love. you are going to get it all under control — it’s just because it’s something new to focus your attention on. promise. you’ll stop driving yourself insane soon. :)

You should totally get yourself out of the mindset that you have to DIY everything or even anything right this second. The bride blogosphere will have you thinking that you have to make pretty blowy thingies, but when you’re busy and have other shtuff to do that’s not planning a massive wedding, there is absolutely. no. shame. in paying a little extra to save yourself the hassle. Outright buy whatever you want and don’t look back.

I enjoy the crazy wedding planner you. It’s fun when you’ve already been through all this, and you can sit back and watch someone else and laugh about how silly you were…no offense! You’re doing a public service really. :)
