As you may remember, I bought my dress — ahem, The Dress — a few months ago and I do adore it, but of course, being a girl who falls easily in love (with stuff, not humans), it was bound to happen at some point or another.
I have dress envy.
Yes, I know, the moment I purchased my dress, people advised me to STOP LOOKING. And I have. I do not actively look for dresses. But sometimes you just stumble upon the loveliest of lovelies and you’re like, WANTWANTWANT!
Sigh.
Brides, since I can’t buy any of these gorgeous, affordable gowns, you should! Let me live through you.

Dude. Dude. DUDE. This gown looks couture but it’s $298 (!!!!!) at BCBG. Ladies, go. Just go.
I loooove that J Crew dress. Then again I love their wedding dress line completely.
If I did my dress shopping over again, I’d look there. Then again I don’t know if I could part with the gown I’m going to wear. :-)
i love all of the saja dresses, i was thisclose to going to san fransico to try one on. go figure they’re coming to la now, AFTER i got my dress. oh well, it just wasn’t meant to be. but man they’re dresses are gorgeous.
So, I’m NOWHERE NEAR getting married, but good lord, I want that J. Crew dress!
I will have the groomsmen wear those dresses. That way our wedding can be everything you imagined with every dress you imagined.
Ohhhh can I ever relate! I bought my dress in December and I have total dress envy! And I still watch “Say Yes to the Dress”….mistake! But if it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend is wearing the J.Crew dress for her wedding :)

The first one is my favorite! Its sort of dreamy and whimsical.
That last dress has many of the elements that I loved about my dress. For about 7% of what I paid for mine. Sigh.

i considered a jcrew dress for our wedding, but read so many bad reviews (cheap fabric, not the right shades of white/cream/ivory, poor fit, etc.) that i decided against it. now i’m dying to see what your actual dress looks like!
I saw that Jcrew one the other day and LOVE it. I should note, however, that I am NOT engaged or anything near it which makes me sound super pathetic. I just love the dresses though. I’m a huge dork about them, grew up drawing them, and wanted to be my own version of Vera Wang. And yes, I’m completely addicted to Say Yes to the Dress.

Ooooh I absolutely love that second dress. Very Greek looking! I can imagine it would be hard to see other dresses you like after you’ve bought your own! I’m not even CLOSE to being engaged and I get dress envy :D
I TOTALLY tried on that BCBG dress, and I’m seriously considering buying it. My wedding isn’t for another 15 months, but I kind of think it would be worth buying as a back-up option.

I totally agreed with you Mich~ I can’t help but go awwwh. . . Whenever, I see a wedding gown (hell, I don’t even have a BF yet, but can’t help going into the planning mode hahaha ) can u blame me!! I think @ one point of time. Every gal has those fantasy of her wedding:) And it’s fun as well.
