We have an apartment!

Matt and I have found a place to live! It’s a cute little place in Culver City, just steps away from all the cool restaurants and bars (helloooooo happy hour!). We get our keys this week!

This is a big deal for us because as you may know, after six years of dating, this will be our first time living together. It’s exciting and scary.

Matt, by the way, I really think we need a potted plant wall decal. Come onnnnn.

Here’s to domestic bliss!

  1. The best thing about that decal is that you don’t have to water it!

  2. If only my real plant looked at good as that decal. At least with the decal, you don’t have to worry about sun or shade!

  3. congrats!!! i love the decals too! although just to let you know, they get kinda addictive, i can’t stop buying them :P

  4. Yahoo! I’m so super excited to hear this news. I mean, probably not quite as excited as you are to move in, but I just think of the blog posts this move is going to inspire and I’m just a bundle of YAYs. :)

  5. So, SO happy for you guys! And yes, if Matt is reading this — potted plant wall decal ALL. THE. WAY.

  9. Congrats!!! I, on the other hand, have been living with Chris since we basically first started “dating” (dating, whatever that means, we met online so it kind of makes no sense!). And I definitely think you should get the potted plant decal, it’s better than a regular plant!

  10. Congratulations!! So glad you found a place that you guys can call your own :)

  11. Congrats again. I passed the street name you mentioned the other night, wow, you are going to be so close to all the action. I love Culver City! Let’s do happy hour some time.

  12. I love Culver City! Congratulations! I lived real close for 2 years and it was great to check out all the restaurants. Tender greens is my fav and just checked out Akasha and the food was delish.

  13. Congratulations!!! Did you know that there is a grilled cheese restaurant in Culver City? I have yet to find it, but I’ve heard tale! Joe works in Culver City, so it’s kind of like a second home to him. Sadly, he usually works through his lunch and hasn’t been able to really explore in his few years there, so you’ll have to pass on your city finds!

Living together is kind of like playing house! Joe and I have lived together for over 6 years and it’s still pretty awesome :)
