One of my best friends, Desiree, is leaving this week for a missions trip to South India, where she will serve abused and widowed women.
Meanwhile, I am thinking about things like this:
My wedding ring is white gold while Matt’s is a dark gray metal. Will they look okay together in the obligatory stacked ring shot? Should we get a fake ring for the photo?
What should be my “something blue”? Come to think of it, what should be my “something borrowed”? You guys, can I borrow something? Maybe something blue?
Should I do Crest Whitestrips?
Should I dye my hair black?
Should I get a facial?
Is there such thing as low-rise shaping undergarments?
Will I ever get my normal brain back??
Only 2.5 more weeks of this, people.

I can totally identify with this, and I still have TEN MONTHS TO GO. I’m already sick of myself!!!
Hang in there! And enjoy it!
girl i totally feel you on all of this. and i did the crest white strips, totally see a difference and worth the $40 or whatever it was. and let me know what you decide about the facial, i might get one too but i’m not sure.
anyhoo, i’m right there with you on the madness, you can do it! woo!
I’ve heard that facials draw out impurities in your skin so your skin gets worse before it gets better after a facial. So if you’re going to do one before your wedding, you might want to get on it to allow enough time for the possible breakout to clear up.
Re: the rings, I don’t know about you, but I would feel like the ring shot was really hokey if it wasn’t even our real rings in the photo. I’ve seen totally different style rings together for that shot before and it looks fine, but you could always just skip that shot, or I don’t know, don’t pay to frame that one or something if you decide you don’t like them together. But buy an extra ring just for one photo? I don’t know, I wouldn’t.
Something blue: your garter! Or a piece of jewelry! Or underwear! For something borrowed, I love the idea of a piece of jewelry that belongs to an older family member, maybe your mother or grandmother.
I don’t know about the effectiveness of Crest Whitestrips but I’ve heard they make your teeth hurt if you use them as often as you’re supposed to. But it’s temporary so might be worth it :)
That’s all I got for ya! And HAVE FUN for these last couple weeks! I love your wedding posts.
No fake ring. It will look great. My rings are white gold and Justin’s was tungsten, and the photos look awesome.
My blue was my shoes, but how about…hmm. draw on the sole of your shoe with a blue pen? or put blue rhinestones on the bottom of your shoe?
Crest Whitestrips make your teeth sensitive, but if you don’t have problems with that, you should be fine. I think your teeth look fine though.
…Your hair IS black. (isn’t it?)
Facials do make you break out before your skin looks better. I’d say no if it’s 2.5 weeks before. You never know.
Uh. I don’t think so. If Spanx doesn’t make it, it doesn’t exist.
YES. but then you will move on to babies. or houses. I picked houses. haha.
I don’t know what kind of shoes you are wearing, but maybe a blue toe ring or blue anklet?
Definitely do Crest Whitestrips-they make a noticeable difference but don’t look fake.
aaron and i are debating on whether to do crest whitestrips before the wedding too!!
i would ex nay on the facial because you never know how your skin is gonna react and you don’t want it to be red in the pics.
excited for you guys!! :)
No to fake rings.
No to dying your hair & facials.
Yes to Crest Whitestrips.
u remind me and when i was preparing for the miss chinatown pageant. let me know if you need help with anything. i’m down to do teeth whitening again. no facial, u might get a pimple. i recommend u drink lots of water each day.
