Matt and I knew we wanted a photo booth at our wedding but renting one of those suckers is expensive. So we decided to make our own. Our planner Paige splashed pinwheels, pom-poms and ribbons onto the front wall of our reception hall, which was already covered in ivy, and poof, there was our happy backdrop. We set up a camera and remote, brought some fun props and cardboard cutouts (made by my sis Carissa), and let our friends and family loose! Say cheese!

Your wedding looks like it was filled with so much fun & joy.
How are you enjoying married life? :]
LOVE IT. you are so creative, it makes me super jealous. :)
What a fabulous idea!
That is such a smart idea Michelle! I wanted to do one too but I didn’t even think of using a remote! How did that work out for you?
i am so in love with these pictures michelle! it seriously looks like you guys had so much fun! i hope the props at my wedding are a hit as well :)
Ev’Yan — Despite our apartment being a disaster and us both being insanely busy, married life is wonderful so far. :)
Alyssa – Thnks! We LOVED our photo booth. We even set up a laptop so people could see their photos instantly. They couldn’t print out the pics then and there but we put a big slideshow on our wedding website and will probably print a bunch out for everyone (but don’t quote me on that).
If I didn’t e-know Matt, I would be under the impression he is a competitive high jumper! Someone has SPRINGS! And the entire photobooth idea is so lovely. The pictures are stellar.
how fun!! I love how everyone seemed to get in on the action!!
awesome awesome awesome steal-able idea.
Such an amazing do-it-yourself idea. LOVE it, and those photos are fab indeed.
If, one day, I get married, I’m stealing this idea. I apologize years in advance.
