The Coolest Charts Ever

“The Evolution of Video Game Controllers”

“The Very, Very Many Varieties of Beer”

“The Titanic Taxonomy of Wrestler Names”

“Periodic Table of Heavy Metals”

“A Visual Compendium of Notable Haircuts in Popular Music”

These prints from Pop Chart Lab are so thorough, so well done, so rad. You’ve got to go to the website to zoom in on and get lost in all the crazy details. (Try to spot the David Bowie hair — it’s like a Where’s Waldo hunt!)

Socks Unite

This wall in Brooklyn is a gathering for socks who’ve lost their pair. How sweet is that?

Words I Love

Simple messages that sing! Loving every whimsical print in hillarybird’s Etsy shop.

You Had Me at Health Insurance

Realistic love notes from ReForm School. (The second one is how Matt feels about me — or so I tell myself.)

Happy Stripes

… make me want to side-skip, Newsies style.

Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire

I love flipping to the last page of Vanity Fair to read Proust, the section where iconic figures candidly respond to questions about life. (They’re just like us!) There can be so much eloquence in so few words. Johnny Cash’s description of paradise: “This morning, with her, having coffee.” Swoon. This stunning coffee table book, Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire: 101 Luminaries Ponder Love, Death, Happiness, and the Meaning of Life, is a gem.

The Case For Having Children, Part 2

Remember the adorable photo series by Jason Lee? He’s back with more! How amazing is that Angry Birds shot?

Check out his website, Kristen & Kayla, dedicated to his sweet (and super photogenic) daughters.

Photography by Youngna Park

I remember swooning over Youngna Park’s prints on 20×200 a while back, and Victoria’s post just reminded me that yes, I do indeed love her work. The pops of color against the otherwise dreary backdrops are just dreamy.

Oodles of Doodles

Malaysia-based artist Lim Heng Swee, aka ilovedoodle, dreams up the most imaginative, smile-inducing illustrations. And the titles are just perfect, dontcha think?

“How To Fall in Love”

“When I Grow Up”

“Born To Be a Librarian”

“Coffee That’s Always Late”

Hold Me Closer, Tony Danza

I mean, Tiny Dancer.

Cool prints.
