I still shamefully don’t know what you’re supposed to do with a cast iron pot, but this one just speaks to me.

Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire

I love flipping to the last page of Vanity Fair to read Proust, the section where iconic figures candidly respond to questions about life. (They’re just like us!) There can be so much eloquence in so few words. Johnny Cash’s description of paradise: “This morning, with her, having coffee.” Swoon. This stunning coffee table book, Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire: 101 Luminaries Ponder Love, Death, Happiness, and the Meaning of Life, is a gem.
I Heart Blik
I’ve featured Blik decals here before, but I’ve become even more convinced they’re one of the easiest, most affordable ways to liven up a home. Our hanging socket lights have gotten more compliments than anything else in our apartment. I’m thinking of getting a few more for our new place. Here are some of my faves:

Recycled Wood Signs

These hand-carved, handpainted plywood signs by William Dohman would be the sweetest addition to any living room, kitchen, bedroom or office. Love. I’ll take the raw brick walls, too.
