Who knew this could be done? I completed the EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge! Thank you, thank you. Cue the confetti.
For me, exercise has always been an afterthought, often even a chore. Once I have time, I always say. But EA Sports Active is a program that really gives you no excuse. Come on, you lazy bum, it calls. Just half an hour. You don’t even need to step out of your house.
Today, I feel trimmer and stronger than I did a month ago. Sure, there were a few times when I felt like kicking my chipper, pony-tailed virtual trainer after she made me do my 13075327th squat, but we’re cool now. My thighs of steel thank her.
And the best part? I feel like I want to keep going. I have a reputation for starting new exercise regimens and quitting after Week 2. But it takes 30 days to build a habit (at least according to Glamour), so the 30 Day Challenge was a wonderful way to do that.
By the way, did I tell you that in the next few months, I’m going to FIVE weddings, a Hawaiian vacation and a high school reunion? Oh dear. Me and EA Sports Active are totally gonna be BFFs.
Thanks BlogHer and EA Sports Active! Love, Skinny Michelle
