So it may appear that I am milking my five minutes of engagement glory for blog content. Well, you know what?
Uh, chicken butt?
So I’m having a teeny crisis over what to do with my hair. You see, I’ve always had this assumption that pretty brides have long pretty hair so I’ve been trying to grow mine out since September. (Just before Matt proposed! I must have ESPN.)
But now?
I.
Hate.
It.
It’s in that awful in-between stage and it’s driving me a little bonkers. Then awesome blogger Doniree showed a pic of her new ‘do and Twitter kind of imploded with oooohs and I was like, that’s it. THAT’S THE HAIR I WANT. (Doni, I don’t mean to be Creepy Creeperson but I totally printed out your twitpic.)
But can I have short hair at my wedding? Or should I keep growing it out so I can do that elegant low bun thing?
I’m so confused.
Can you help me?
For reference, here are two photos that give you a better idea of what I would look like with long and short hair. For those who don’t know what I look like or have trouble telling Asian girls apart, I’m on the right in the first pic and on the top left in the second pic.
LONG:

My hair would be in a low side bun, so my face would sorta look like this.
SHORT:

Other things to note: My dress is sleek and simple and our wedding is in the forest.
So. Long or short hair? OK, go.
